Behavioral Health and Intervention Services are voluntary skill-building interventions that reduce or eliminate behaviors and symptoms associated with psychological disorders that have been evaluated and diagnosed by a licensed mental health clinician.  A diagnostic assessment is developed by the licensed clinician and sent to the BHIS Provider. The BHIS Provider develops a treatment plan outlining interventions tailored specifically to your child and family.  Providers meet with individuals and families weekly in the family home and/or school to actively prevent and/or eliminate symptoms and return your child and your family to a state of effective functioning. The focus of these services is on the child, the family and also crisis intervention.  The child must be Title XIX eligible to receive BHIS services.

Note: We promote Full Circle Therapy Center, LLC (FullCircleTherapyIowa.com) to perform this service through independently contracted providers that are listed.
